In the survey, conducted by Novus from August 19 to 26, 2020, a total of 1056 women between the ages of 16 and 80 were interviewed.

VagiVitals Intimate Health Barometer is a survey that maps Swedish women's relationship with their intimate area. With the Intimate Health Barometer, we want to increase knowledge about intimate health and help break the stigma. No woman should have to suffer from intimate health issues unnecessarily when help is available!
From the Genital Barometer
- Six out of ten women find it embarrassing to seek care for genital issues.
- Just as many find it uncomfortable to ask for help with intimate care products.
- 35 percent of women feel uncomfortable talking about genital problems.
- 61 percent believe we talk too little about women's genital health.
- 15 percent of all young women are dissatisfied with the care they have received for their genital issues.
