We have developed VagiVital AktivGel with care and are proud to offer a product that can make a real difference in your life.

Below are five frequently asked questions from our customers about VagiVital AktivGel:

 1. Question: How long should I use AktivGel?

Answer: In the clinical studies we have conducted with VagiVital AktivGel, we see very good results after 30 days (4 weeks). The results improve further at the follow-up after 12 weeks. Therefore, we normally recommend daily use for 12 weeks (3 tubes) and then switching to use as needed. In user surveys, most respond that they use the product daily for 30 days. After that, the most common is to switch to use every other or every third day.

 2. Question: Can VagiVital AktivGel replace estrogen preparations? 

Answer: VagiVital AktivGel is a good alternative for women who cannot or do not want to use estrogen preparations, and many women have reported experiencing similar or better results with VagiVital AktivGel. We have also heard from some women that they use our product in combination with estrogen, although we have no studies on combined use. The great thing about AktivGel is that you cannot overdose it, as it contains no hormones.

 3. Question: Can VagiVital AktivGel cause increased discharge?

Answer: Yes, it is possible that you may experience increased discharge when using VagiVital AktivGel. For some women, this is a normal reaction and it can actually be a return to how it was before they went through menopause. It is important to note that increased discharge is not always a negative effect. It can actually be a sign that the product is working and helping to restore a healthy environment in the vagina.

 4. Question: Does AktivGel help against urinary tract infections?

Answer: Dry and fragile mucous membranes are common after menopause, which can affect the tissues in the urinary tract, including the urethra and bladder, making them more susceptible to infections. When the tissues in the urinary tract become thinner and less elastic, the urethra can become irritated and inflamed, which can lead to urinary tract infections. We have no studies with AktivGel specifically related to urinary tract infections, but since the gel strengthens and moisturizes the mucous membrane, this may be the reason why so many women report that the gel has also helped them prevent urinary tract infections.

 5. Question: Can VagiVital AktivGel be used as a lubricant? 

Answer: VagiVital AktivGel has a lubricating effect. However, it is important to understand that VagiVital AktivGel was primarily not developed to be a traditional lubricant for intercourse. What really distinguishes VagiVital AktivGel is that it builds up a result and cures and relieves dryness in vaginal mucous membranes in the long term. This means that the mucous membranes become better lubricated and more moisturized over time. The clinical studies we have conducted show that women who use the product for both 4 weeks and 12 weeks report a significant reduction in dryness of vaginal mucous membranes. In addition, pain during intercourse is significantly reduced and women who previously experienced bleeding during intercourse say that these problems disappear after using VagiVital AktivGel. In a user survey, 44% of the women surveyed said they are more sexually active after using VagiVital AktivGel. It is also worth noting that our product is gentle and does not irritate the mucous membranes. Instead, it helps the mucous membranes regain their natural elasticity and moisture, especially after, for example, menopause. Many women have also reported that by using VagiVital AktivGel continuously, they no longer need to worry about preparing for possible intercourse.
